What You’ll Need

Shiny Mae Original Deco Cream Kit

  • Notebook or journal: We used a 4" × 6" notebook, but you can decorate almost any notebook, journal, or planner
  • Charms: Use the charms included in your kit or mix in your own favorites
  • Sprinkles (Optional, included in kit): Perfect for adding extra sparkle and fun details
  • Tweezers (Optional, included in kit): Helpful for placing smaller charms and decorations

Plan Your Design

Before decorating, take a moment to decide where you d like your deco cream and charms to go.

You can decorate the corners, create a border around the cover, or fill the entire notebook with cute details. We recommend. laying out your charms first to help visualize the final design

Tip: Take a quick photo of your layout before you begin so you can easily recreate it later.

Apply the Deco Cream

Attach your favorite piping tip and start decorating. Create squeeze by squeeze or add swirls. Decorate a small corner or cover the entire notebook, the choice is yours.
Theres no right or wrong way to create. Just have fun and make it yours.

Tip: Experiment with different piping tips to discover your favorite look.

Add Charms & Details

While the cream is still soft, carefully place your charms and sprinkles into the design. You can really add anything to it, be creative!

Tip: Start with larger charms first, then fill empty spaces with smaller details.

Let It Dry

You re done! Now it s time to let your creation set. Place your notebook on a flat surface and allow it to dry for about 24 hours. There s no need to use heat, a hair dryer, or direct sunlight simply leave it at room temperature and let the deco cream dry naturally.

Leave it overnight, and before you know it, your personalize notebook will be ready to use, gift, or display.

Tip: Drying time may vary depending on the temperature and humidity in your space. When in doubt, leave it overnight, forget about it for a bit, and come back to it the next day.
